My Story...

After nearly a decade working as a Registered Nurse in a wide range of specialities both in 'Developed' and 'Developing' countries, I have seen nearly every kind of disease and disorder of the mind and body. I have worked in a Major Trauma Unit, with cancer patients, in surgical and medical wards, and many different emergency departments in Australia. I worked in clinics and schools and even overseas, taking me to Nepal, Tanzania, and a refugee camp in Bangladesh. This has lead to me to further my education, studying Nutritional Medicine, Yoga Teaching, and a Masters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine.

I love what I do, but the stress of my job, along with the inability to manage the various stressors in my personal life, caused me to become very sick in 2017. My physical, mental, financial, and spiritual health deteriorated right in front of my eyes, and I had to re-learn everything I thought I knew about myself and the world around me.

This difficult experience, in conjunction with other challenges I have faced in my life, became a blessing in disguise, as it forced me to learn even more about health & wellness of the mind & body than I ever had before, in order to build the thriving and vibrant life that I am so fortunate to lead today.

Over the last eight years, I have built upon my foundation of education in Nursing + Medicine with Ayurvedic Medicine (from India) and Traditional Chinese Medicine to deeply understand physical and mental healing through breathing practices, yoga, meditation, mindfulness, herbs, nutritional medicine, cold exposure/therapy, detoxification principles, and so much more. It is my ultimate hope that I can help others heal their mind and bodies, as I have, though the lessons that I have learnt, that are essentially all available to us and mostly within us already.

I am passionate about helping others to help themselves live a healthier and more meaningful life. I also deeply care about the preservation of this planet and would love to inspire and educate others to live a more environmentally conscious life, caring more about the animals and ecosystems that are currently suffering as a result of our actions. I believe that through living more mindfully and with love, we will all receive benefits beyond our wildest dreams, and in turn the Earth we live on will also begin to thrive again too. This is what I have experienced, and why I have decided to share these principles of good karma with you.

I'm trying to be the change I wish to see in the world.

Please feel free to get in touch. I would love to hear from you!
